ABOUT US
Total Tutoring was established by entrepreneurial teachers who saw children whose needs were not being met by their classroom learning and passionately wanted to help beyond our school roles.

At Total Tutoring we believe in building opportunity, we do this through teaching the children, each step increases their understanding and each lesson builds up their confidence and resilience. Children then take this back to the classroom, more able to choose to challenge themselves and be brave when confronted with problems to solve.

Our ethos is to only use qualified and handpicked teachers as tutors, individuals with our values and passion for quality tuition.

At Total Tutoring we understand family life isn't perfect and we know that as a parent you want the best you can achieve for your child. We are here to support your child, we create an atmosphere of praise, celebrating hard work and overcoming struggles as well as obvious successes. We motivate your child to want to work at their studies and look at how we can make the curriculum easier for them to access; our aim is pupils walking into their classrooms with a thirst for learning.
Founding Tutor, Vicky, is a former teacher, tutor and mum to four. "It is difficult to balance all the priorities in a child's social calendar, music lessons, sports and clubs all help shape a child, but feeling like you can't understand the work at school has a profound effect on a child's education and importantly their self esteem. We work to rebalance this, helping build the child's self belief."
